How do I join MTB Riyadh?

Registration is completely free. Click Join Us in the nav, fill in your details including emergency contact info, agree to the waiver, and you are in.

Is riding experience required?

Not at all. We have rides for all levels — beginner, intermediate, and expert. Our beginner rides go at a relaxed pace with plenty of support.

Is a helmet mandatory?

Yes, absolutely. A properly fitted helmet is non-negotiable on every MTB Riyadh ride.

What bike do I need?

A mountain bike is recommended but not always required for beginner rides. Hardtails, full-suspension, and gravel bikes are all common.

How are rides announced?

Ride announcements are posted on this website and on all our social channels @mtbriyadh.

Can I cancel my ride registration?

Yes, you can cancel up to 24 hours before the ride start time.

What happens if I have a medical emergency on a ride?

Every ride has a safety officer with access to emergency contact info for all registered riders.

Who can see my emergency medical information?

Your emergency medical info is stored securely and only accessible by designated ride leaders during a medical emergency.

How do I become a ride leader?

Ride leaders are experienced members who have been with MTB Riyadh for at least 6 months and completed a basic first aid course.

Are there age restrictions?

Riders must be 16 or older. Riders under 18 require written parental consent.
